These courses are pre-requisites to our program.

The two courses described below (Emergency Homeopathy and The History of Homeopathic Medicine) are offered in combined class and home-study formats. The basic principles of homeopathy are introduced as we do our  case studies, role-playing and experiential work in class, and practical work and reading at home.

Learn how homeopathic thought has  has its origins in Hippocrates, the father of western Medicine. as the branch of medicine known that uses « similars » to stimulate vital force.

This course will explore how homeopathy and allopathy (conventional medicine) have paralleled one another over the past centuries and also how the new Quantum physics has contributed to a new understanding of the workings of homeopathic remedies.

Format: Guided home-study and in-class training with provided audio-visual guides and text.

Teacher: Carla Marcelis inspires you with examples from her practice and the richness of her background in medicine, naturopathy and homeopathy.

Get a basic understanding of homeopathy and its use in first aid. Learn the principles of homeopathy as a system of medicine and some 40 remedies that can be used around the home.
Examples from homeopaths’ practice will bring the remedies to life and help you distinguish between them. Students will use this knowledge to treat two first aid situations and discuss these cases in class.
FORMAT: Guided home-study and in-class training. Students will be supplied with audio-visual aids in both contexts.
